HOW TO MEASURE YOUR SPACE ?

Accurate measurements as indicated in the measuring procedure are the key elements we will need to plan your new house. With this information, our specialists will be able to help design your dream new house! We use to measurement door for wall to wall size as example.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED?

A tape measure, pencil and paper: preferably graph paper for ease of drawing or list by excel sheet.

Suppose you don't have a door yet, but you have already made the door opening.

Step 1: Measure the width of the door opening

To measure the width from left to right, you need to measure the top, middle and bottom of the door opening, and then select the smaller size of the three places as the width of the door opening. There may be 3 different sizes, because it is difficult to guarantee 100% absolute horizontal or absolute vertical during the construction process. Choosing a smaller size can facilitate the installation of subsequent doors without destroying the wall during installation.

Step 2: Measure the height of the door opening

Measure the height from the inside of the top of the doorway to the ground. You need to measure the left, middle and right places respectively, and also choose the smaller size as the height of the doorway.

Step 3 Measure the thickness of the wall

Measure the walls on both sides and select the thickest wall size as the wall thickness.
