Five rounds of project orders confirmed against the same specification — and this year, for the first time, the owner of the client company visited our workshop in person. For years the cooperation had moved forward without a single in-person meeting: samples, inspections and loaded containers were the evidence that kept it going.
Client Background
The client is a Czech project company that takes on a wide range of building projects. Their execution team is based in Foshan, China — under an hour's drive from our factory in Guangzhou — while the projects themselves are located in Canada. The company is not the end user of the doors; it runs projects end to end, and this aluminum-clad wooden door program is one of several in Canada delivered every year.
The Challenge
The project called for minimalist-style doors — a design language in which any deviation in alignment, surface finish or hardware detail is immediately visible. Each door had to be deeply customized, and the client's quality requirement was high. The product itself was specific: an aluminum frame combined with an HPL flame-retardant finish, which keeps the slim, minimalist look while remaining solid and durable.
There was also a practical challenge on the ground. The doors would be installed on sites in Canada under local installation conditions, while the client's team coordinates those installations from China. Small details — how hardware is fixed, how labels and guides are marked — can decide whether an install goes smoothly. And because the client had never visited our factory, trust had to be built through evidence.
Why They Chose Us
Sample first, before the first large order. We built a small sample of the customized door and invited the client's team to review it in person. Their base in Foshan made this practical: the team could examine the frame-to-panel connection, the aluminum edge caps, the hinges and the sealing details up close, and confirm the design before committing to the first order.
Quality control is what earns the repeat orders. Every door is pre-assembled in our workshop before packing, with details checked and adjusted; installation guidance is provided so the doors go in correctly on site. When local installation conditions required it, we kept refining the product — sample parameters, structure details, even the design of the screw head labels — until the door was as straightforward to install on site as it was to assemble in our workshop.
As a door & window solution provider, we don't just supply doors — we engineer them for each project.
Delivery & Execution
The delivered product is an aluminum-clad wooden door: a solid aluminum frame paired with a wooden panel finished in HPL flame-retardant material. The combination keeps the clean, minimalist appearance while keeping the structure reliable and durable.
Production follows a fixed sequence — frame assembly, panel fitting, hardware installation — and each door is pre-assembled and checked against the confirmed specification before packing. Doors that pass are loaded into containers at our workshop, with the loading verified on the spot.
Because the specification and checklist are now settled, follow-up orders move quickly: once the list is confirmed, an order is typically confirmed the same day.
Results
To date, the cooperation has run through five rounds of orders — almost all of them project orders. Each round has progressed smoothly, from the first order placed after the sample review to the latest confirmed shipment.
Trust & Future
This year, the owner of the client company visited our workshop for the first time. During the visit, he explained the background of the program: the projects are in Canada, with several expected every year, and the program is likely to continue for many years. He told us that the cooperation had given him confidence — and that was why he wanted to see the workshop for himself.
On the finished installations: those projects are still in progress. We respect the information sensitivity of the end client, so completed project photos and videos will be added to this page as they become available.
Next Steps
If your project has similar requirements — minimalist design, high quality tolerance, and a supplier who verifies every detail before shipping — get in touch. We engineer doors for projects, not just supply them.
