What Should I Know About Expedited Orders, Fees, and Storage?
What is an expedited (rush) order?
An expedited order is an order that must be produced ahead of the standard schedule, requiring our factory to arrange overtime work.
Why is there an expedite fee?
The expedite fee covers the extra labor and production costs caused by overtime work arranged for rush orders. It applies to expedited orders only; Standard and Planned orders are not charged.
How is the expedite fee charged?
Once an order is confirmed as an expedited order, the expedite fee is confirmed at the time of ordering and settled together with the final payment (balance).
How can the expedite fee be waived?
To encourage timely shipment: if the expedited order completes shipment within 3 working days after production and quality inspection are finished, the expedite fee is fully waived when you pay the balance.
What happens if shipment is not completed within 3 working days?
If shipment is not completed within 3 working days, the expedite fee will not be waived. In addition, from the 4th day after quality inspection, the goods will be transferred to the export supervision warehouse and storage charges will apply.
What is the storage fee standard?
Expedited orders: 3 free working days after production is finished; after the free period, storage fee = total product cubic meters × $2.00 × storage days. Regular orders: 20 free storage days (shipment to be completed within 30 days after production); after the free period, storage fee = total product cubic meters × $1.00 × storage days.
Do Standard or Planned orders have the expedite fee?
No. The expedite fee applies to expedited orders only; Standard and Planned orders are not charged.
